KYA Media Corps

The Media Corps has been making podcasts, broadcasts, articles, and posts on social media. Everyone is working hard to ensure that they can get as many things covered as possible.

The Broadcasting Team is led by Elke Coenders. She has Avril de la Llana and Maci Sanders on her team. The broadcasting part of Media Corps is the video journalism. They have been working hard to get broadcasting videos edited and uploaded for KYA HS 3 delegates and others to watch.

The Podcasting Team is led by Savannah Dowell. She has Shelby Ford, Maci Sanders, and Charlie Seigler on her team. The podcasting is the audio journalism part of Media Corps. This team has been diligent to get many podcasts put on Spotify. They even did one on the Media Corps itself.

The Social Media Team is led by Raakin Shah. He has Shelby Ford, Avril de la Llana, Charlie Seigler, Kennedy Slayton, and Parker Henry to help out with collecting content to post on Instagram and Twitter. The Social Media is the social media journalism part of Media Corps. The Social Media Team have worked really hard to collect candidate platforms and quotes for Raakin to post on Instagram and Twitter.

The Newspaper Team is led by Rebecca Biggs. She has Tahsen Hossain and Kennedy Slayton on her team. The Newspaper is the written journalism part of Media Corps. Many articles have been posted to medium on the Pre-Conference, Opening Session, Meet the Candidates, and many more.

Our Media Corps Team was led by the Editor in Chief Darrell Liwanag and Y-Staff Ryan Simpson. Thank you so much for their hard work and dedication. They pushed us to record amazing podcasts, video excellent broadcasts, write outstanding articles, and post awesome posts on social media.
