KYA Fashion 101
All of us come to KYA to present and debate issues that we are passionate about. However, wherever you look you will find someone expressing themselves with their fashion choices.
As we walk the halls between debates, and hike the steps at the capital, you will find many different fashion choices. On the first night, Junior Nick Adams, made a bold choice when he chose to base his outfit off the 1920s fashion. When asked why he chose to wear what he did, he immediately responded with “I love the 1920s era and so the outfit was inspired on what they wore at that time period”.
Some also made fashion choices that are typically not made this time of year. We spotted a student who was wearing white pants, a fashion choice that usually isn’t made after Labor Day. He topped off his outfit with dress shoes without socks.
On the topic of socks, Junior Emma Bayens was rocking the Halloween cat socks. “I’m allergic to cats, but I thought they were cool.” There seems to be a number of delegates with fun and entertaining socks.
We all enjoy the debates but it is always fun to see the outfits that people put together and seeing people expressing themselves through their clothing.
